About the author

Alex has written over one hundred works of non-fiction and fiction for children. From famous scientists to asteroids, flying reptiles to chocolate, his books have covered a wide range of fascinating topics. Alex lives in London with his wife, two children and two cats.

Isobel Lundie is a children’s book illustrator living in Worthing with her boyfriend ‘Zulf’ and cocker Spaniel and occasional crocodile ‘ Roo'. She absolutely loves what she does, especially the beginning of projects when she can let her imagination go and create the characters and the worlds they live in. Isobel has been lucky enough to work in the word of children’s publishing for the last 7 years and has had a lot of fun meeting all the talented writers, designers and editors who she gets to work with.
