What does it take to build a home? Bricks and concrete, windows and walls, glass and steel? Sometimes, home is something much more...
With spare, gentle text and colourful illustrations, Cindy Wume explores the many different shapes a home can take - an apple, a box, a cosy reading nook, and finally a reassuring hug - capturing the essence of what home really means. Clever cut-through and lift-the-flap elements invite readers to peek through at hidden surprises throughout. A playful ode to all the places we find comfort and joy, this is the perfect story for any child navigating change, reminding little ones that there is always a home waiting for us.
