Find out how to catch a dinosaur – and what to do next – in this funny and heartwarming picture book with compassion and community at its heart.
Felix has a big dream: he wants to catch a dinosaur! Armed with determination and a bit of creativity, he sets up a trap at the bottom of his garden. But what do dinosaurs eat? Cold sausages? Chocolate cake? Nothing seems to work, but just when Felix is about to give up, his dream comes true. And yet, maybe it wasn’t such a great idea after all?
From Josh Lacey and Momoko Abe, the creators of The Pet Potato, comes this funny and heartwarming book about morality, empathy and togetherness in a neighbourhood.
About the author
Jo van der Borgh grew up in South East London and spent most of her holidays on the coast of South West Ireland in walking boots and boats. She has always had a passion for nonsense poetry and moral tales, so when her job in the commercial world of property lost its appeal she packed it in to pursue a Masters in Creative Writing and Children’s Literature at Kingston University. She says this was the most indulgent and enjoyable year of her life. Jo still lives in Greater London with her husband and two teenagers, and teaches young adults, which she finds hugely rewarding.
